Welcome to the Board Readiness Program!

Our mission is to expand the field of nonprofit board membership by training members from underrepresented communities. Join us for a comprehensive one-day workshop designed to equip aspiring board members with the skills and knowledge they need to make a significant impact.

1. Prepare community members for board service by removing obstacles to recruitment and providing education on board governance.

2. Show board members how to help nonprofits establish healthy boundaries by clarifying roles, responsibilities, and expectations.

3. Develop diverse potential board members ready to activate board service right after the training.

4. Support individuals in matching them with nonprofit organizations for board service.
